It seems like quite a lot has been jammed into a few months – I’ve been travelling about a bit and visited some great places. First off was Reykjavik in Iceland – really worth a visit. Much edgier than I was expecting… lots of art, murals on walls, curious wee nooks and crannies. Some fantastic scenery to be found after a bleak bus ride. Didn’t buy much, as it is an eye-wateringly expensive place, but have plenty memories and some great fodder for the ol’ Instagram 🙂

Next up was a girls’ trip to York but as I suffer from vertigo, there was no way of getting me up York Minster! Fabulous wee cobbled streets though and will definitely go back.

Another trip darn sarf for the Business Excellence Forum 2017 in Harrogate – 1000+ business owners descended on the Conference Centre for 2 days of world-class speakers. Highlights were definitely Prof Steve Peters (The Chimp Paradox), Michelle Mone and Philip Hesketh – phenomenal talks to inspire. Looking forward to next year’s already!

Julie with Phil Hesketh – he sounds just like Peter Kaye…

Then there’s staying a wee bit closer to home, such as Elie. Always fun with my mini bandits.
