‘Steps Towers are looking for a front-end web development intern!

39steps is looking for an enthusiastic intern with a passion for the web to join our team on Great King Street. As we expand the online side of our business, we’re looking to take on board someone who’s interested in modern web front-end techniques and who has some experience with web CMSs.

Our internship would suit an undergraduate or recent graduate who is keen to gain experience.

Our ideal new teammate has some knowledge of the following:

  • HTML 5
  • CSS (including CSS 3)
  • JavaScript (including jQuery)
  • open source CMSs like WordPress, Drupal and concrete5
  • Adobe Fireworks and Photoshop
  • PHP
  • Git (not crucial, but would be nice!)

They’ll be comfortable working alongside other developers and designers, and won’t be afraid to discover and implement solutions to web development problems independently.

An enthusiasm for all things Web is a must, as is a drive to learn and keep up with evolving technologies and design trends.

Working hours are flexible, but will start at two days a week (15 hours). The hourly rate is £6.50.
